“Earlier this month we invited readers to join us in the OneBadWheel League in the Pay The Fan fantasy NASCAR game. Every player to register a team is really hoping to win the $150,000 prize for the 10-race Chase game. However, the odds are even better to win a prize for the 32 owners who took the opportunity to join the OneBadWheel League.
“32 owners?” you ask? Yes, 32 owners (players) and 55 total teams. There are a few owners with two or three teams, and then there are the “Hendricks” & “Roushs” of our league with 5 teams or more. Team owner “SANDMEDIC” from Arizona has a total of twelve teams (no doubt thanks to Pay The Fan’s Bonus Program). Last year’s $150,000 winning team was owned by “kborgne” and she is also one of the multi-team owners in the OneBadWheel league (“kborgne” has five teams).
So right there we have two owners who own 17 of the 55 teams in our league. They certainly should 
combine to claim a few of the top 10 spots in the end. After only two races though, neither owner has a team in our league’s top ten. Speaking of the top ten teams, the average point total for that group is 575.7 points. Those ten teams have posted an average of 287.8 points per race. How does your team stack up to those numbers?
It’s early in the game, so there’s plenty of time to make your way to the top. The highest scoring team in our league at the end of the season will win a $500 Best Buy gift card. I don’t know about you, but $500 to spend at Best Buy would make my day! I’m thinking maybe an iPod Touch, or perhaps a better digital camera.
