• Driver wrecking more than once in a race (Aric Almirola is current title holder): There always seems to be that poor sap in the back of the pack that manages to bring out multiple cautions. This week my choice is Scott Speed.
• Chris Myer’s Biblical times reference to Dick Bergren’s age: Dick Bergren is so old that he was the pit announcer for Noah’s Ark.

Essay: What is the big story on Monday morning?

(note: this doesn’t necessarily mean the most important story or most relevant, simply what people will be talking about) Kyle Busch admits testing positive for HGH. The biggest story I’m expecting to see on Monday is the poor attendance and what Fontana and NASCAR can do about it.

It never seems to matter what happens on the track, fans and the media tend to take the easy shot and blame Fontana.
